CPA Refresher Course

POLICIES & GUIDELINES ON THE OFFERING OF CPA REFRESHER COURSE

I. Rationale:

A Refresher course is required to be taken by examinees who have failed two (2) complete CPA Board Examination (R.A. 9298, Section 18, Article III). Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy resolution no. 46 series of 2020 requires examinees to enroll in a refresher course and obtain a certificate of completion from a higher educational institution (College or University) duly recognized by CHED and accredited by PRBOA to issue refresher course before they can take another exam. In order to meet the demand for schools offering a comprehensive and effective CPA Refresher course in the region, the School of Accountancy of Divine Word College of Calapan by virtue of PRBOA Certificate of Accreditation No. ACC-No. 2023-0014 will be offering this program starting 2nd Semester of SY 2023-2024.

II. Application Requirements

Original copy of CPALE Rating (recent)
Photocopy of Transcript of Records (TOR)
4 copies of 2×2 ID Picture
Photocopy of Birth Certificate

III. FEES

I.The fees for the refresher course will be composed of:

1. Tuition Fee: P12,000.00 (for 24 units or P500 per unit)

Which will be distributed as follows:

70% to Reviewers (according to number of units handled)

30% to DWCC

2. Administrative Fee: P500.00

II. The fees will be collected as follows:

P6,500 – Downpayment

P3,000 – Before Midterm Examination

P3,000 – Before Final Examination

IV. Mode of Delivery:

The mode of delivery of the refresher course will be:

Discussion: Online via Zoom

Examinations & Submissions of other course requirements: Online thru LMS/Google Form

V. Subjects will be offered in a special refresher course offering. The student shall enroll in the following courses to complete the 24 units:

VI. Academic Policy

A transcript of records and certificate of completion will be issued only if a grade of at least 75% is attained for each subject. If a grade of 75% is not meet in any subject, then he/she needs to repeat the subject until the required grade of 75% is attained.
