The Divine Word College of Calapan, Inc. has formally entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Woodrose International Group of Schools (WOODROSE IS), located in Maputo City, Mozambique, marking a significant step toward strengthening academic mobility, professional development, and institutional collaboration. This partnership reinforces DWCCโs commitment to expanding globally aligned educational opportunities.
Under the agreement, students from WOODROSE IS will be admitted into select PAASCU-accredited programs of DWCC, specifically the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED), and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED). The MOA will be in effect for three years, supporting the long-term vision of fostering a diverse, internationalized academic environment. Through this initiative, DWCC expects to welcome international students by 2026.
Present during the signing were Fr. Renato A. Tampol, SVD, PhD, DWCC President; Br. Hubertus Guru, SVD, Ed.D.; Ms. Claudette G. Sim, Internationalization and External Linkages Officer; Dr. Shirley I. Mendoza of the School of Business, Hospitality, and Tourism Management; Mr. John Michael S. Mendoza, OIC Dean of the School of Education; Ms. Rodessa Lazarte, Vice President and Co-Owner of Woodrose International Group of Schools; and Ms. Venus Braceros, Principal.
This partnership marks another milestone in DWCCโs continued pursuit of academic excellence and global engagement.
