#PRISAAMIMAROPAGames2026 | Take a look at the highlights from the Opening Ceremonies of the PRISAA MIMAROPA Regional Games 2026, held yesterday at the DWCC Gymnasium.
PRISAA MIMAROPA delegates were honored with the presence of Governor Humerlito “Bonz” A. Dolor, Provincial Governor of Oriental Mindoro, who delivered an inspiring message to all participating athletes. In support of the event, Governor Dolor also extended a ₱150,000 cash incentive for the winners of this year’s games.
Fr. Renato A. Tampol, SVD, PhD, President of Divine Word College of Calapan and President of PRISAA MIMAROPA, formally declared the opening of the games.
Comprising 21 schools grouped into 5 clusters across the MIMAROPA Region, delegates are set to compete head-to-head in various sporting events throughout the four-day competition, running until March 21, 2026.
As Day 2 concludes today, March 19, 2026, we extend our best wishes to all athletes, coaches, officials, and participants for their safety and success in the remaining games.
