College Library
When the Mindoro College, now Divine Word College of Calapan (DWCC) was established in 1946, the library occupied one room on the ground floor of the Bishop’s Residence, adjacent to the Sto. Niño Cathedral. Then in 1953, it was transferred to another building vacated by the Holy Infant Academy which was also located in the same compound. A librarian took charge of the library with 6,000 volumes of books.
Since 1965, the library has been occupying the left wing of the second floor of the main building in the present site of Divine Word College of Calapan, from 9,000 volumes; the collection of books has increased to 47,235 plus other non-print materials, and periodicals. The members of the staff and student assistants increased in size too. The library has a total floor area of 726.31 sq. meters and has a seating capacity of 333 readers at a time.

Vision
The DWCCC Library as an Academic Library that provides innovative and quality facilities and service to its stakeholders for professional and spiritual growth.
Mission
To provide and support the academic needs of the stakeholders of DWCC to be qualified professionals with respect to cultural preservation.
Goal
1. Maintain a well-balanced library collection;
2. Provide functional library facilities;
3. Engage in continuing professional development and to attend relevant seminars, trainings; and
4. Maintain an efficient and effective library system that develops well organized collections
- To support the academic needs of the curricula of the Divine Word College of Calapan;
- To subscribe to magazines and professional journals (local and foreign).
- To acquire non-print materials to assist instruction especially in their area of discipline;
- To prepare reports regarding the recent acquisitions of the library to all library users;
- To implement a systematic collection development program that will provide for regular collection;
- To monitor the library material expenditures of all the academic department and informing them of the status of their library materials budget;
- To enhance the effectiveness of the centralized acquisitions and for a close monitoring of all requests for library books and other materials, to ensure relevance and avoid unnecessary duplication.
- To improve the library physical environment and the implementation of library policies, and
- To have a quality library personnel service.
- The Library is a place for study and research. Silence at all times is to be observed inside the library premises.
- The Library is to be kept clean and orderly. Chairs are to be pulled out and pushed quietly to their proper places before leaving. Scratch papers should be placed in wastepaper plastic container.
- Eating and drinking are not allowed inside the library.
- Vandalism such as writing on books and furniture, and destroying equipment is prohibited.
- Cellular phones, laptops and music players are permitted in the Library, however, they must not disturb other library users. Urgent phone calls should be made outside the library.
- Working students assigned in the library have the authority to reprimand library patrons if necessary.
- Library patrons should respect working student on duty.

DWCC MINDORO MANGYAN MUSEUM & ARCHIVES
Archive collections include DWCC history, SVD history, pictures of DWCC activities, yearbooks, and other archive materials about the Institution.
Mindoro-Mangyan Museum collections are composed of the following: Pictures of eight (8) major Mangyan tribes, a map of Mindoro, handicrafts, Mangyan attire, Hanunuo Mangyan writings, household articles, musical instruments, weapons, Puerto Galera excavations of different pots, and Mindoro festivals in pictures.
All of these materials are to be used inside the library only.
