Leaders of higher education institutions across Oriental and Occidental Mindoro convened for the One Mindoro Association of Higher Education Institutions (OMAHEI) General Assembly on March 19, 2026, held at Divine Word College of Calapan, Inc. (DWCC).
The gathering brought together school presidents, administrators, and institutional representatives, reflecting a unified effort to strengthen coordination within the higher education sector in the province through the leadership of Fr. Renato A. Tampol, SVD, PhD (DWCC President) as the organization chairperson.
CHED MIMAROPA Regional Director Prof. Edna Imelda F. Legazpi led the assembly, highlighting the role of collaboration among institutions in addressing the changing demands of education and ensuring that initiatives remain aligned with the needs of students and communities.
Through the assembly, member institutions reaffirmed their shared commitment to sustaining partnerships and advancing a more cohesive direction for higher education in Mindoro.
