Divine Word College of Calapan, Inc. warmly welcomed twenty-one Work Immersion students from Porfirio G. Comia Memorial National High School (COMEHI) on December 1. The group was formally endorsed by Mr. Djhonder Noel Gutierrez and received by Ms. Claudette G. Sim, Internationalization and External Linkages Officer, who provided an introductory orientation about DWCCโs mission, programs, and opportunities.
Also present during the orientation were Ms. Chenee A. Naluz, Program Coordinator of the School of Information and Technology; Arch. Angel Clyde Manuel, Program Coordinator of the School of Architecture and Fine Arts; Mr. Victor Estrada, Pollution Control Officer; Mr. Henry Lasquite, IT Infrastructure Head Administrator; Mr. Wyndell S. Gaspan III, Marketing and Media Officer; and Engr. Jezer E. Ilao, Director of the Student Affairs Office.
The students will undergo a 10-day, 80-hour immersion across various departments, including Information Technology, Architecture and Fine Arts, and Engineering. The program aims to expose learners to real-world professional environments, helping them gain practical insights and better understand their chosen fields of interest.
This partnership between DWCC and COMEHI underscores a shared commitment to nurturing future professionals by bridging academic learning with hands-on experience.
