Welcome to Divine Word College of Calapan.

During our strategic planning at the beginning of the first semester of the Academic Year 2023-2024, I laid down the direction of my administration. It is the consolidation of school activities for the next triennium Academic Year (2023-2024 to 2025-2026) towards the preparation of the school’s 80th founding anniversary.

We continue to enjoin administrators, faculty, staff, students, and alumni to uphold our core values: integrity, social responsibility, excellence and evangelization. These should always be manifested in the pursuit of our institutional goals: global competence, academic excellence, cultural sensitivity, and SVD spirituality.

Thus, everything should be aligned with our 80th year celebration. The accreditation of our programs, the national and international exposures of students, enhanced faculty and staff development programs, the excellent performance in the licensure examinations and the achievements in academic and sports competitions. With God’s grace, we will be able to add more programs to all levels: Basic Education, College and Graduate School so as to respond positively to the needs of industry partners locally and even on a national and international level.

These things are moving forward at present because of the active participation of all the members of our school community. May the good Lord continue to bless our endeavors and be guided by the missionary zeal of St. Arnold Janssen that whatever we do, we do it for God’s greater glory and for the welfare of society.
